Nestled near Zagreb, we are a small, passionate distillery dedicated to crafting exceptional gin.
Our journey began with three friends who wanted more than just a drink—they sought a reason to come together, unwind, and create something truly special. What started as a shared passion soon evolved into a pursuit of perfection, blending tradition with innovation.
We produce our gin in small batches, carefully selecting and hand-preparing each ingredient. By distilling with the finest premium alcohol, we ensure a refined and well-balanced spirit that captures the essence of our craft.
What sets our gin apart is our commitment to local, high-quality ingredients. We take pride in sourcing juniper from the hills of Kapela, sun-kissed lemons and aromatic sage from Vis, and rich, bitter oranges from the remote island of Lastovo. Each botanical tells a story of Croatia’s diverse landscapes, bringing depth and character to every sip.

The Story Behind the Name "Horizon"
Despite considering various ideas, the name Horizon was born on the island of Vis during a quiet evening of fishing from one of its rocky points. As we cast our lines into the sea, one of us casually remarked, “We need to run through more ideas—one will eventually stick. How about Horizon?” At that very moment, he pointed toward the endless meeting of sky and sea.
It was simple, spontaneous, and just felt right. Horizon became more than just a name—it captured the spirit of adventure, endless possibilities, and the sense of escape that inspired us to create our gin in the first place. This is when this picture was made…

From the very beginning, we wanted our bottle to reflect the essence of Horizon: freedom, exploration, and endless possibilities. Instead of a fixed design, we chose to collaborate with young artists, giving them a blank canvas to express their own vision of the horizon.
Each edition of our gin features a unique label, a personal interpretation of what the horizon means—whether it’s the meeting of the sea and sky, a symbol of new beginnings, or an abstract play of colors and light. Through this approach, every bottle tells a different story, making each one a piece of art as unique as the gin inside.
